Founding and Vision
QuantumlLeap was founded in 2019 out of the conviction that Artificial Intelligence must be more than just standard software. Our founding team of researchers from ETH Zurich recognized the gap between scientific AI breakthroughs and practical business applications. Bridging this gap became our mission.
The name "QuantumlLeap" symbolizes our approach: making significant improvements by using state-of-the-art AI technologies. We believe in precise, scientifically sound solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
Development and Growth
In the early years, we focused on developing our three core competencies. Quantum-inspired optimization arose from the frustration with slow classical algorithms. We developed Active Learning for clients with limited data but high-quality requirements.
Meta-Learning was added in 2022 when we realized that many companies face similar AI problems, but each requires individual adjustments. Today, we work with over 50 Swiss companies from various industries.
